The Brief

This semiconductor solutions company are one of the leading providers in their field and are working to help achieve a better future with their microelectronics.

With the office environment changing over the past year, the company wanted to redesign their space to encourage staff back into the office after a lengthy time of working from home. The brief for the redesign included providing multiple work areas for staff, depending on the task at hand.

What we did

Considering the brief, we really wanted there to be a space for everything within the office. Multiple work areas were incorporated into the design; a break-out area, a tea point, collaboration sections for team huddles and project work, an innovation room for conceptualising, meeting rooms, open plan and individual office space and a unique laboratory for experiments and testing.

Through-out the design bold, bright colours have been featured, making the space exciting to look at and creating an enthusing and inspiring working environment.

As you enter the space, a bespoke dark wood feature wall has been mounted in the new tea-point area, creating a striking yet calming space for staff to convene. Office plants were also placed through-out the space as offices with biophilic features are proven to reduce stress and increase productivity.

We, along with the client’s input, opted for solid and glass partitioning to create the new office sections. The majority of the furniture was specified as part of the design to blend with the client’s existing pieces.
