The Brief

The brief called for the design and refurbishment of many areas in the building, including a 2000 sq ft, double height event space with a stage and conference style setup. This area would be used to hold seminars and other events where up to 80 people could comfortably attend. At the back of the event space were 2 of our upholstered Beachhouse collaboration pods, which allow for private meetings in a creative surrounding.

There was also a reception and waiting area, several enterprise office spaces, plenty of private offices, washrooms, teapoints, acoustic phone booths and even gaming areas for table tennis. One of the designers favourite parts of the projects was the 10 themed meeting rooms, where you could step from the Sahara into a immersive woodland! Each meeting room was designed differently to accommodate various style meetings, from casual meeting rooms with bean bags and sofas, to formal boardroom style meeting rooms.


What we did

All meeting rooms and private offices utilise a digital signage booking system.

Extensive refurbishment work was undertaken such as the full strip out including a goods lift and dumb waiter.  External works were also undertaken including a window upgrade, illuminated signage and building repairs as well as the fire and security alarms.  352 desks were supplied along with operator chairs.  A variety of breakout and meeting furniture was supplied for the mixture of working areas found across the floors.  In the basement we also supplied another collaboration pod, our Treehouse product which is perfect for quick one to one meetings.

We are proud to be able to offer this building as our working showroom where people can visit, by appointment, and see a broad variety of desking, task seating, and breakout furniture being used in a live working environment.
