The Brief

Office Profile created additional meeting rooms, a teapoint, and also reconfigured the reception area. All of these works had to be carried out while the office was fully occupied and operational.

Glass and solid partitioning were used to create the additional meeting rooms which were named after influential people such as Trevor Baylis, inventor of the wind-up radio, and John Logie Baird, inventor of the television. Manifestation and graphics were used to display the meeting room names and add a touch of colour to the space.

What we did

Office Profile supplied a variety of furniture for the project, including Orangebox task seating, huddle sofas with high backs for added privacy and meeting room furniture. An attractive bench desking system was installed in the open plan area of the building, along with a cable management system to avoid visible wires and remove any trip hazards.

A large bespoke StorageWall area was installed to provide a space-efficient and modern storage solution that fitted in with the design and finish of the refurbished space. Cubed personal storage was also installed in the teapoint area for staff use, with key locks fitted for added security.

Further work carried out included installing electrical, data and audio visual points, along with lighting, plumbing, ventilation and decorating.
